| This is How the Beadlocks are shipped to you from Allied, with the rings bolted to the wheel to insure the ring fits and all the bolts are there. This also helps minimize damage to the rings from shipping. | |
| A view or the face of the rim with the lock ring removed. | |
| The side of the rim, notice the valve steam placed way inside the wheel, no more ripping that off of rocks either. | |
| The inside where the face was welded on to the Rim. | |
|
This is the Lock ring, notice the slight angle on the top to make sure the bolts sit flat and also the taper to the inside to aid in self centering.

-Mounting the wheel |

Take the rim and drop it through the back of the tire, then set it flat on the ground. I then added a small bead of silicone to the bead of the tire to help seal it from all little leaks. Center the tire over the rim and grab your lock ring |
|
| Using 4 bolts at 90 degree spots on the tire slowly hand tighten them down until they sit flat on the lock ring, Bump the tire around to make sure it stays centered. (Mark these 4 bolts to help aid you in torquing) | |
| The grab the rest of the 28 bolts and start putting them in 1 by 1, hand tightening them down flush to the lock ring. | |
|
Now you start the fun part, torquing the beadlock. Start at 5 foot lbs going in a pattern. I went from 5 to 8 to 13 foot lbs |

| Watch your ring as you tighten down | |
| All torquing down at 13lbs, when you reach 13lbs do it again 2 more times to make sure all the bolts are torqued down | |

I choose to Use equal to balance out my tires, as more miles get put on I will give an update on it is working. This is a 8oz drop in bag that can buy from IMI products |
|
| I just pushed the bag through the back bead | |
| I had to add a little more then 8oz (8 is the recommend with a 38'), so I used 2 more 1 oz bags. These were not drop in bags so I had to open them. I opened them up and poured through the back bead as well. Looks a lot like a very fine sand, but it is not. | |
| Pouring it down the back bead | |
| Then set the wheel on a bucket or something so the tire hangs over the rim and fill it with air to pop the back bead on. | |
|
Total Install time was about 1 hour a wheel. After you air up, torque your wheels again. For the first couple of drives you are going to want to check them often. Like one of my friends said, you can never check the torque a beadlock to often. -Good luck, Have fun! |
